How long to preheat Behmor?
Most Behmor coffee roasters can be pre-heated to 250 F, or somewhere around 3 – 4 minutes. (On my upgraded Behmor 1600 Plus, 3 minutes on the highest heat settings gets me to 200 F).
How to preheat Behmor 1600?
Preheat: We’ve found through testing, a more robust roast can be achieved by doing a 1:45 minute preheat** of the system. Press any weight, start and allow to run for 1:45 minutes. Press stop, insert roasting drum, tray and start your roast.
