You’re buying beer at the wrong brewery. Often it doesn’t, but it can happen. Growlers are 64 ounces, cans and bottles in six packs normally 12 ounces, so the growler is 5.33 cans worth of beer. Often breweries, brewpubs and bars will price their growler fills at 4 times that of a 16 ounce “pint”.
