How quickly do Nottingham give offers?
We aim to respond to applications within three weeks. At peak times, applications can take up to six weeks to process. If we need any more information from you to make a decision, we’ll get in touch. As soon as we’ve made a decision on your application, we’ll contact you to let you know what you need to do next.
What happens at offer holder days?
Offer holder days are events held by universities after they have made all their offers for that year. They give you another chance to get a good look at the university you are potentially going to, and narrow down your choices for your firm and insurance options.
Does University of Nottingham do interviews?
We do not normally include an interview as part of the admissions process.
What a level grades do you need to get into Nottingham University?
Offers are generally based on grades achieved in three A levels (or equivalent). Most streams require at least 2 science subjects from Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics (individual stream requirements detailed below). Applicants without A level Maths must have a C/4 in GCSE Mathematics (or equivalent).
Do Nottingham accept lower grades?
As a result, when we assess your application and you meet the requirements of the course, we may consider making you a reduced grade offer.
Does Nottingham give unconditional offers?
The university announced in January 2019 that it was ending the practice of making unconditional offers with effect from September 2019. The University believes that all students should maintain their independent study skills right through their schooling to ready them for the challenge of studying at Nottingham.
What is an offer day?
An offer review date is a scheduled day the seller will review all offers made on their home for sale. It also doesn’t mean that a seller must stick to the date. If a great offer comes in before the offer date they set, they can accept that offer and not review the others.

Admissions staff at the University of Nottingham look for the following information on the UCAS form: Academic ability and potential as shown by your GCSE (or equivalent) results and predicted or achieved examination results.
Does Nottingham have January intake?

Do Nottingham look at EPQ?
The University will consider applicants offering the Extended Diploma or the Diploma combined with other qualifications. Offers are conditional on the overall grade achieved (eg DDM). Specific grades in particular units may also be required. Check our BTEC qualification requirements.
