Read the official Forest Order 03-01-21-16 declaring the closure. The close officially begins at 6:00 AM, Thursday, June 24, 2021, and lasts until September 1, 2021. It’s possible the closure may be rescinded much early depending on weather conditions.

The purpose of these restrictions is to reduce the risk of human-caused wildfires during periods of high fire danger amd elevated fire weather conditions.
