Is Hep2O a PEX?
There are two main pipe materials on the market, Polybutylene (PB) and Cross-linked Polyethylene (PEX) and both have different properties. Hep2O pipe is all PB.

Hep2O® is available in either a Standard or Barrier Pipe format: Hep2O® Standard Pipe is made from polybutylene; Hep2O® Barrier Pipe has a layer of ethylene vinyl alcohol that prevents oxygen diffusion through the pipe wall when used for central and underfloor heating systems.
