For a long time, HoN or Heroes of Newerth game has been launched in SEA. However, the Heroes of Newerth Garena team would like to inform you that the Heroes of Newerth game will officially cease service in SEA from June 20, 2022 onwards.
How do you play HoN in sea?
Use hotspot shield.
- Turn hotspot shield on.
- Turn on Heroes of Newerth.
- Log in Hereos of Newerth.
- Alt-tab and turn off Hotspot shield.
- Go back to Heroes of Newerth.
- Press Ctrl + F8 on your keyboard while on HoN (You should be logged in but disconnected from chat server)
- Type in chatconnect.

Is DotA same as HoN?
It’s a very literal spin-off of Defense of the Ancients. Dota 2 and HON even feature many items and heroes that, aside from their names, are pretty much identical. The biggest difference between them is the pacing. HON matches tend to move faster.

DOTA 2 currently features 122 heroes, the newest of which being Marci. Most of these heroes are based off of pre-existing heroes from the first Defense of the Ancients.
