More than 1,700 students audition for SAB’s summer course each year, and just 10–13 percent are accepted into the program. While knowing the numbers might freak you out, it can also help to keep you humble.
Is Sab Open 2021?
All classes for the 2021-22 Winter Term will be held in person. However, it is our strong hope and intention to have a fully in-person training year for all class levels. Classes will be small, but not as small as in 2020-21.

Ballet schools and dance companies are seeking dancers with the strength and fitness level to perform what are basically Olympian athletic feats: jumps, fouettes, pirouettes, and basically any moves en pointe require an incredible degree of athleticism.

SAB holds an audition for 11-18 year olds at our headquarters each September. Students in this age group are expected to have previous ballet experience. Accepted applicants enroll right away.
