Leysdown Boot Fair first started in 1992 and has grown into one of the biggest in Kent. After a three month break, the Sheppey boot fair finally resumed on Sunday, June 7. Like all other parts of society, it has had to adapt to the current conditions and introduce social distancing measures.

When will the 2018 boot fair be held?

We are now planing to hold the first boot fair of 2018 on April 1st Easter Sunday 2018 – there is quite a lot of work to do to the field before we start and the field needs to be dry to carry out this important work. We are hoping March will be dry enough for us to carry out this work, if this is possible we will open 1st April.
