Is Plas Newydd open today?
Booking and opening times Plas Newydd House is now closed and will welcome visitors back in Spring 2022. The gardens and tearooms remain free to enter with no need for booking. The opening hours for the Plas Newydd Tearooms are 10:30am until 4pm from Wednesday to Saturday throughout the Autumn and Winter months.

Plas Newydd (not to be confused with the house of the same name at Llangollen), is the family home of the Marquis of Anglesey. The house is an elegant 18th century mansion designed by James Wyatt in a mix of Classical and Gothic styles, built around a 14th century hall.

Other re-opening sites include Criccieth, Kidwelly and Laugharne castles. Tintern Abbey, Harlech, Chepstow and Raglan castles will re-open outdoor areas to Wales residents from Tuesday 06 April. Meanwhile, Denbigh and Rhuddlan Castle in Denbighshire will re-open on Thursday 08 April.
