I currently live in New West and it’s absolutely fine. As with all cities in the Vancouver Area, there is a drug problem but it’s no way near as bad as it is in Vancouver or Surrey. It’s actually becoming a very trendy area for younger generations priced out of Vancouver and I see a pretty positive future for the City.
