Is the seneye any good?
The Seneye Reef is a great light meter. That you can get a full featured meter for PAR and color spectrum information for around $200 USD, about half what the comparable Apogee product costs is what makes this product amazing.

What does seneye test for?
Seneye Reef Pack is an all in one monitor for Temperature, Ammonia, pH, Water level, and Lighting. With a PC you can connect your Seneye monitor directly to any PC or Seneye Web Server to monitor your aquarium.
Does Seneye work with Mac?
If you own a Mac and want to use a seneye device then we suggest the use of a seneye web server (SWS). This interface is fully Mac compatible, as to is the seneye.me dashboard.
How often does seneye take a reading?
The readings from your seneye device are uploaded to your personal seneye dashboard every 30minutes, when connected to a PC.
How do you take par reading seneye?
Move the seneye device around the aquarium to read different light levels. The seneye light meter sensor is located on the back of the seneye device in the round window. To read the light levels in your aquarium this will need to be positioned at the point where you want to take the reading.
How do I connect to Seneye WIFI?
- Power On. Plug the Micro USB power cable into the power port of the VIXMINI.
- Connect.
- Access the Web Admin Panel.
- Go to the Internet section of admin panel.
- Connect Vixmini to Seneye Web Server.
- Finish setting up Vinimix.
How do you soak a Seneye slide?
You will need to soak your slide in the water it will monitor before fitting it so that it stabilizes: 24 hours before for freshwater and 48 hours before for salt water. You can soak your slides in a container of the system water. To ensure that it soaks correctly, the white back of the sensor should be facing upwards.
Does Seneye monitor nitrate?
Regarding Nitrites and Nitrates, we designed the seneye to measure NH3 directly being as this is the first stage of the nitrification cycle. An increase in NH3 will result in an increase in nitrite, so therefore the seneye can alert you to this before it becomes a problem.
How do you use a Seneye slide?
Activate your seneye slide using the Seneye V2 mobile app On Android and Windows 10 select this from the drop down menu. On iOS click the slide icon at the top right. Simply place your slide packet in front of your phone camera and it will scan the QR code and activate the slide.
