Can VAO get promotion?
Candidates shortlisted/recruited as VAO by TNPSC will be promoted as an Assistant after 6 years of service. He/she would have to clear a Departmental Exam to get Assistant Post in Revenue Department. Finally, you can get promoted to Deputy Collector. This will serve as additional incentive.
How can I become VAO?
Must have passes S.S.L.C public examination or ist equivalent with eligibility for admission to higher secondary courses of studies or to college courses of studies.
