What causes code P0894?
The PCM monitors the difference between engine speed and transmission output speed. If the PCM detects a degree of transmission slippage above the maximum allowable parameters, code P0894 may be stored. Trouble code P0894 may also be set when the PCM detects excessive TCC slip when the TCC should be engaged.
