The Dutchtub Original comes with a fire basket for the coil, a special wok, a turbo valve for fast heating and a fibreglass cover.
How does a Dutch Tub work?
The DutchTub is a wood fired hot tub. The fire in the fire basket heats the spiral and the water in the spiral. The warm water rises and flows into the tub. This makes the cold water on the tub’s floor flow into the spiral, causing a natural circulation.
How much is a Dutch Tub?
I supposed these are risks and obstacles you have to just accept for the Dutchtub. This hot tub is also way more expensive than a normal one. You have to pay to get your wood fire roaring! It’s around $5,700 whereas a low-level hot tub is around $4,000.
How often do you need to change the water in a hot tub?
every 3 to 4 months
We recommend customers to change their hot tub water every 3 to 4 months. The reason we recommend this is that as your continue to add more chlorine, it will start to dissolve slower and slower until the chlorine doesn’t dissolve in your hot tub anymore.
Is it safe to drain hot tub water on grass?
Spa water makes fine lawn water, as long as you open the cover and allow the chlorine or bromine level to drop to around 1 ppm. Your spa water should also be relatively well balanced, or at least the pH level should be below 7.8, and even 7.0 to 7.2 if possible, as most lawn grasses prefer a slightly acidic pH level.
Why are hot tubs out of stock?
Since most people were placing custom orders pre-pandemic, retailers traditionally kept very few hot tubs in stock. When manufacturers were allowed to reopen, many weren’t able to produce the same number of hot tubs they had pre-pandemic.
