The opportunity to meet newcomers to New Zealand. The Association provides scholarships and grants for New Zealanders in academic and cultural programmes in the United States. Members receive preferential access & discounts on the cost of admission to NZAA-sponsored programmes and events offered to the public.

Does AA membership cover the car or the person?

Yes. With personal breakdown cover, you’re covered in any car you drive. You’re also covered if you’re a passenger in any car. So whether you’re travelling in your own car, a friend or family member’s or someone else’s, you can call us out if you break down.

Can I cancel my AA membership and get a refund?

For Members paying annually, subject to any other statutory rights you may have, there will be no refunds following the cooling off period. Continuous Members paying monthly or quarterly can cancel their Membership at any time by giving a minimum of 30 days notice.

Can I cancel AA?

You have the right to cancel your AA membership Breakdown Cover within a 14 day ‘cooling off period’, commencing either from the agreement of the contract, or the receipt of your membership documents, whichever happens later.

Does AA come to your house?

If you add At Home to your policy, we’ll come to you if your car breaks down at home. When you need us, we’ll usually get to you in under an hour, or at a time that suits you.

Can I have 2 cars on my AA breakdown?

Cover for two people You can add someone else to your personal cover as long as you both live at the same address. We’ll rescue either of you if any car you’re in breaks down.
