What is the AAT syllabus?
The AAT syllabus consists of 17 exams in total, spread across 3 AAT levels. Through each qualification you’ll learn practical skills to prepare you for the workplace, from basic finance administration skills to preparing final accounts and complex management accounting tasks.
Is AAT syllabus changing?
AAT is currently preparing their regular syllabus change to come into action in September 2022, moving over from AQ2016 to ‘Qualifications2022’. This has been delayed twice from the original September 2021 date due to COVID and again due to to insufficient time to fully test their new assessment platform ATLAS cloud.
Is AAT Level 4 harder than 3?
In AAT Level 4, subjects and exam are much difficult compare to the AAT level 3 but with the dedicated support from our tutors you can easily pass all the exams and become fully qualified AAT member. Upon completing AAT, you can move on to a chartered qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, and ICAEW.
Is AAT worth?
Even if you don’t decide to go directly into accounting, having AAT qualifications listed on your CV will give you a real advantage in the working world. Alternately, AAT courses make an excellent starting point prior to entering university to get a related degree in finance. AAT courses are a sound investment.

Do AAT qualifications expire?
After successfully completing the AAT Professional Diploma in Accounting you’ll automatically become an AAT affiliate member. You’ll stay at this membership level until your student membership expires.
