Why is Molex bad?
Why is molex good for bad. One of the big reasons against molex is that, even though there is the notch that’s supposed to prevent you from plugging the connector the wrong way around, it’s still possible to plug it far enough in for the pins to make contact, sending 12V on the 5V rail and vice versa.
Why is Molex SATA bad?
In a poorly-manufactured adapter, power can arc from the 5.5-volt or 12-volt wire to the ground wire. At the very least, this will destroy your adapter.
