What levels can go to summit?
The Summit is the main and final cheerleading competition of the season for level 1-6 Junior and Senior teams. The competition is open for both U.S and international teams and is a highly competitive event.

All Level 4.2 athletes may only crossover to levels 2, 3 or 4. Athletes that competed at The Cheerleading Worlds can cross to a Summit team in levels 6, 5, 4, & 4.2 Level 6 Summit team athletes can only cross to levels 4, 5 & 6.
What are the different summit bids?
Summit
- Paid bid — This bid is the same as the Worlds’ full-paid bid.
- At-large bid — No expenses are paid with an at-large bid, but these teams also do not need to compete in the preliminary round.
- Wildcard bid — Wildcard bid winners have no expenses paid.
How do you qualify for D2 summit?
Gyms must be D2 eligible (125 athletes or less & meet all USASF Guidelines) when they receive a D2 Summit Bid. If a program exceeds 125 athletes or fails to meet USASF D2 guidelines ANY TIME throughout the season, they will no longer be considered D2 and will forfeit their D2 Summit Bids.
What is a summit at large bid?
AT-LARGE bids will go to the highest scoring bid eligible teams across different levels. At events where PAID bids are awarded, AT-LARGE bids will then go to the highest scoring bid eligible teams across the different remaining levels.
