Paid parking is available at Bradleys Head (via Bradleys Head Road), although the parking area is small and fills up rather quickly, especially during weekends. You can also catch a ferry to Taronga Zoo from Circular Quay, and walk south to Bradleys Head, which isn’t too far away.

Are dogs allowed at Bradleys Head?
Dog Friendly: No As you wind your way towards Taylor’s Bay, you will be amazed by sweeping views of the Harbour Bridge, Opera house, the PM’s residence and city skyline in all their glory. The weaving trail between Bradley’s Head and Chowder Bay Walk is either boardwalk or leafy path.
Can you fish at Fairlight?
Fairlight Point It’s a great winter fishery. It’s also a good yakka spot. It fishes well for luderick and surgeonfish but is difficult shore access. A similar spot with good shore-based access can be found on the adjacent point near Fairlight pool.

The usual place to begin this walk is from the Taronga Zoo Ferry Wharf. However, if you have a little more energy or want to make it a full day walk, you can start at Cremorne Point and follow the track to Taronga. If you are coming from the south or eastern suburbs, take a ferry from Circular Quay.

The views along Bradleys Head to Chowder Bay walk are almost too good to be true. The gentle bush track weaves around the harbour headlands from Taronga Zoo Wharf around Bradleys Head to Chowder Bay – Gooree and is guaranteed to impress.
