Why does my leaf blower shut off when it gets hot?
The carburetor inside a leaf blower uses several plastic diaphragms to bring fuel into the carburetor, mix and measure the fuel and send it off to the cylinder. This warping will cause the fuel to stop moving through the entire circuit, and the engine will shut off.
Why is my Husqvarna blower won’t stay running?
The carburetor might be clogged. A clogged carburetor is most commonly caused by leaving fuel in the leaf blower for a long period of time. This sticky fuel can clog the fuel filter and cause the engine to stall. If old fuel was left in the leaf blower, drain the old fuel from the fuel tank and replace the fuel filter.
Why does my battery leaf blower keep shutting off?
The most common causes of this annoying issue with gas leaf blowers are filters and air/gas mixture. The air filter is clogged. If an air filter is clogged, it may allow enough air through for the engine to run at idle.
What causes a leaf blower to bog down?
A dirty air filter is one of the most common causes behind a leaf blower that is bogging down: the air is enough for the engine to idle, but as soon as you switch to full-throttle, the machine will stall. All we need to do is replace the air filter. To do this, start by opening the air filter cover.
Can a leaf blower overheat?
The gas engine on your leaf blower needs to operate at a specific temperature: hot enough to burn the fuel and give the engine power but cool enough not to overheat the piston. An overheating problem in the leaf blower is generally caused by a failure to vent gases or the fuel burning too hot inside the cylinder.
How do you adjust the idle on a Husqvarna 125b blower?
Locate the idle speed screw on the side of the carburetor and behind the air filter. Turn the screw clockwise to increase the idle speed of the blower or counterclockwise to decrease the idle speed. Make one-fourth turns until the blower engine idles and operates smoothly with and without the trigger throttle pressed.

Does your 150bt start off with regular unleaded?
I have had my 150BT since March. No problems whatsoever except pinging when this dummy put regular unleaded in it. It starts by the third pull after priming and needs no choke. First pull starts for the rest of the day. I wish my Shindy T242 started as easy.
What happened to the husq trimmer at Lowes?
The new Husq. stuff (non commercial) that they sell at Lowes is not the same as it was a few years back. They took the very simple/lightweight design of the older models and added a bunch of plastic and BS making them more bulky and hard to deal with. I don’t get it. I love my old Husq. trimmers and my 145BT.
