THE future of Weymouth’s iconic SandWorld attraction is uncertain – after its boss arrived to find the landlord had repossessed the building it operates from and changed the locks.
Can dogs go to SandWorld Weymouth?
We welcome, well behaved and emptied dogs to SandWorld. Our main concern is risk of damage to our sculptures by a loose dog, which would cost us thousands to replace and the risk of fouling in the sand, which could come into contact with members of the public. Please bear this in mind when planning your visit.
Is SandWorld indoors?
The majority of the exhibition is indoors and although there are Covid measures in place (hand gel, face masks required), it was exceptionally busy during half term and I think a lot of people’s Covid sense went out the window, so I would recommend going when it’s more quiet.
