Is it worth it to let Cicero live?
If you let Cicero live, he will join you once again after the Dark Brotherhood main quest is completed. You can use him as a follower, and he will be available in the new Dark Brotherhood sanctuary located at Dawnstar. To be fair, he is a really strong follower, so it is wise to let him live.
What loot is Cicero?
It should be noted that if Cicero is spared in this quest he will become an available follower for the Dragonborn. If he is killed, his body can be looted for his outfit (the Jester’s Outfit on the table at the entrance is less powerful), some gold and a leveled dagger.
What is in Cicero’s coffin?
Cicero is an assassin and the Keeper of the Dark Brotherhood. The coffin he is transporting contains the remains of the Night Mother. Choosing to help Cicero will lead to him showing gratitude if you join the Brotherhood.

What happens if you turn Cicero in?
If the Dragonborn chooses to report Cicero to the guards (as Vantus initially wishes to do) however, Cicero will be arrested and led away. If the Dragonborn later joins the Dark Brotherhood, Cicero will express anger when they first meet in the Sanctuary, although this has no effect on their interactions.
Can you save Cicero?
Since you can pickpocket him and receive higher grade gear at the Dawnstar Sanctuary, it is really not lucrative to kill him. If you have completed the quest line for the Dark Brotherhood, and Cicerio is still alive at that point, he will indeed become a Follower.
Is Cicero’s outfit good?
Prices are 20% better. One-handed attacks do 20% more damage. Wearer is muffled and moves silently.
