I guess I might be too late but any usb headset such as the Kingston Hyperx Cloud 1/2 will not benefit from any sound card or integrated motherboard audio. It uses its own sound so it will just bypass the motherboard audio or the sound card. Only a 3.5 millimeter jack will benefit from a sound card.
