We tested accuracy within defensive distances. LaserMax guarantees a less than 1-inch POA/POI variation within 10 yards out of the box. We tested the system at the same distance, out of the holster from a standing position and results didn’t vary too much from 1 inch.

Is the LaserMax worth it?

The Lasermax built in sight MADE my gun! I couldn’t compete IDPA using the laser but I was able to shoot the courses after the competition was over.. I love my gun and I at times take the Lasermax for granted because it has NEVER let me down or failed. My advice to you is get one, not cheap, but worth it.

How long did it take you to install the LaserMax?

I bought this not knowing anybody that used one. I tried a friend’s G27 with crimson trace and the grip was too fat. The LaserMax came with easy step-by-step instructions and I had it installed in about 20 minutes. Make sure you use the straw they give you and read all the directions first.
