What are the different levels of club soccer?
There are up to five levels of play including Bronze, Silver, Silver Elite, Gold and Premier. Teams earn promotion or relegation through the different levels by results each season. CSL has both a Fall and Spring season and also hosts a popular “League Cup” in November/December.
Is AYSO competitive?
In AYSO United, our top players are exposed to the challenges and competition of club soccer. In this environment, the players work with high-level coaches and play in USYS (U.S. Club) leagues and compete against other youth club organizations.

Is Da or ECNL better?
ECNL is clearly the preferred format for top colleges. On the male side, the best option is probably the DA. The DA is well-established while the male division of the ECNL is still relatively new. Again, the competition level is extremely high, and high level college coaches and scouts scour DA events.
What is the difference between ECNL and ECRL?
ECNL is the first-tier league and ECRL is the second-tier league. ECNL is considered to be the more competitive league. The biggest difference between ECNL and ECRL is that is ECRL is limited to playing teams in their region, whereas ECNL teams play nationally.
What is the difference between club soccer and AYSO?
A- Both AYSO EXTRA and Club are competitive soccer programs targeting players that have a stronger desire and ability to play soccer. However, AYSO EXTRA focuses on the development of players in a competitive (but not a cut-throat) environment. All players in the AYSO EXTRA program will play at least 3/4 of every game.
What is extra program?
EXTRATM is a competitive, game-circuit program that offers players a higher-level opportunity to refine their skills in a more competitive, tryout based environment.
