Will a Bar-Sto semi-fit barrel fit a G40?
Bar-Sto offers two 6-inch Glock barrels for the big G40 — a “Semi-Fit” and a “Match Target.” The Semi-Fit version fits most Glocks but may require some careful filing by a gunsmith. The Match Target, however, requires a complete custom fit to your pistol. I simply sent my G40 to Bar-Sto and they completed the job.
Is the barsto Sto compatible with SIG pistols?
Bar-Sto simi fit barrel but not a match target barrel. Here is an image of the lockup points on a SIG pistol like the 229 or 226. You can see the Barrel bushings machined in the slide at the muzzle. Lockup slight amount of metal.
Is the barsto 9mm Suppressor Ready?
The only minor knock is that our test barrel came packed in a plastic bag rather than a hard tube like the others. Unlike the other barrels with their knurled thread protectors, Bar-Sto’s are smooth, making it look like a more natural extension of the barrel, though not quite as easy to remove. BarSto threaded 9mm barrel makes it suppressor ready.
