Are heidenau tires good?
They are good enough on wet roads but beware of the white lines. Anyway, you got ABS and Traction Control on the new big-adventure motorcycles, so you won’t feel unsafe. The front becomes unstable on hard-braking, but you’ll get used to it, and it’s not worse than other dual-sport tires.

A very good adventure tyre hard compound, made in Germany for MEFO (I believe) by Heidenau. Very long life, very good on hard pack and gravel roads. You will never get everything in a tyre, but for me, these are about as close to an ideal adventure tyre as you can get.

Are Motoz Tyres any good?
Long lasting sure, but no feel on edge grip and poor grip on wet bitumen or mud due to the “plastic” compound they use instead of high quality content rubber. The Motoz tyres have proven to me durability doesn’t have to come at the expense of predictable grip and feel. The Motoz slide predictably.
