Can I camp at the Pinery?
Many different camping experiences are available at Pinery. There are many superb sites available in the three Pinery campgrounds. Roofed accommodation campsites are located in Riverside Campground Area 1.

Is Pinery Provincial Park free?
We are providing free day use Monday to Thursday from May 1 to September 2, 2021 Day use on all other days is $18 per vehicle. Forks of the Credit hosts the famous Bruce Trail.
Are the showers open at the Pinery?
When visiting the Woodlot or park store, please only send one member of your party and adhere to physical distancing signage. The Visitor Centre and Friends of Pinery Park Store remain closed at this time. ? Showers facilities will be open at a reduced capacity this season.
Does Pinery have food?
The Pinery Park Store offers campers and day visitors a wide range of grocery and convenience supplies. Camping gear, grocery items, ice, souvenirs and more can be found in the park store. A small restaurant within the store offers hot meals; wraps, hamburgers, fish and chips and more.

What does Radio Free camping mean?
Common Restriction By The Campground Authorities The first is the radio-free campsite. This means you cannot use any radios while camping. Some campsites restrict alcoholic beverages or ban campers drinking them in their original containers. No littering is virtually a universal policy by all campsites.

There are also three designated group camping areas in Pinery Park. For 2021-2022 camping and reservation fees, click here. Electrical and non-electrical sites are to be found in our campgrounds for those wishing to tent or trailer camp.
What can you do in Pinery this winter?
Hike one of the ten walking trails or bike along the 12-km bicycle trail . Pack a lunch and plan a picnic alongside the river, or paddle one of the rental canoes down the Old Ausable Channel. See a movie in the Visitor Centre theatre or browse through the Friends of Pinery Park Nature Store. Don’t forget about Pinery’s many winter activities.
Where can I camp near dunes National Park?
These campsites are perfect for those campers that do not need electricity or pull-through sites. Dunes campground is within easy walking distance of the beach, outdoor amphitheater and Visitor Centre. Dunes campground provides a mix of electrical, pop-up trailer and tenting sites from May to September.
How far is Grand Bend from the Pinery?
Location: About 10km from Grand Bend’s main strip ~10min drive no traffic but when the street is backed up with the summer crowds can be upwards to 30-60min waiting time. There is only one road that goes from the Pinery into Grand Bend and it gets very busy! A bike might be a good option to rip into town.
