Can you grow spinach in AeroGarden?
Yes, you can grow anything and it is always fun to experiment and try new things, but some plants are either going to be too big, or they really don’t like growing in water. Another example is spinach, it really does not like to grow in water, and many experienced AeroGardeners will tell you the same.
What can I use instead of AeroGarden sponges?
The stock AeroGarden seed pod grow sponges can be substituted with any of various air conditioning weatherstripping seals such as Frost King Air Conditioner Weatherseal (cost about $3) or a similar low-density, open-celled foam.
Are Aerogardens worth it?

Should you trim AeroGarden roots?
We recommend trimming your AeroGarden roots for the first time after about 4 weeks. With the plants removed, trim the roots. Be careful not to trim them back too far. Just trim them back far enough so they will not interfere with the parts of your AeroGarden.
Can I unplug my AeroGarden to move it?
as long as it is mini yes… Question: I accidentally unplugged my aerogarden, but plugged it back in immediately. You will want to reset the light and nutrient timers after your Aerogarden has lost power.
Can I reuse AeroGarden sponges?
Can I reuse a sponge? If the sponge hasn’t been used you can remove the seeds and replace them with your own seeds. However, if you’ve already used the seed pod sponge to grow a plant, you should keep the plastic basket and throw out the sponge.
