They are not bad devices, per se, but they are also not particularly effective arch supports for a majority of patients and they cost many times more than arch supports that in my opinion work much better to eliminate the most common types of foot pain.

It is a good idea to remove your insoles from your shoes each night so that air can dry each side. This is especially important if you perspire heavily.

Can I put my insoles in the washing machine?
Remove laces and insoles – To keep your laces from getting tangled, remove them from the shoes and put them in a separate bag or pillowcase to go in the washer. Your insoles, however, should be washed by hand. Remove them from your shoes and use a solution of warm water and detergent to remove stains and odors.
