How does financial aid work FAU?
Financial aid is awarded on an annual basis. Students must reapply each year by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at https://studentaid.gov/. Once the FAFSA data is received and processed, aid eligibility will be determined. This typically happens in early April of each year.

Does FAU have a payment plan?
FAU students with current term charges are eligible to enroll in an installment payment plan. The payment plans are only available through your MyFAU student portal under the Self-Service section. Payment plans are all assessed a non-refundable $15 service charge due at the time of enrollment.
Does FAU give full rides?
Receive designation as a National Merit Finalist by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation and name FAU as your first-choice school By May 1. Full cost of attendance is covered including grants or scholarships for Fall & Spring semesters up to 4 years or 8 semesters, or until undergraduate degree is awarded.
