How do I join UNSW library?
If you are not a current UNSW staff or currently enrolled student, you can apply to become a Library member. School membership registrations are currently unavailable. You will receive an email when your Library membership card is ready for collection. Collect your card from the Help Zone, Main Library.
How do I reserve a book at USYD library?
To make your request, use Library Search to locate the item you would like to consult. You can then select Request options, under Get this item, to make a booking. Make sure you are logged in to access Request options.
Can UNSW alumni access to library?
Alumni are eligible to join UNSW Library for free and can print or borrow books or access e-journals from library computers.

How do you borrow books UNSW?
You can borrow/return items using the self-check machines near the Help Zone on Level 2. Return loans via the return chute located near the Help Zone. An additional after hours return chute is open 24hrs a day and located at the back of the Library near Tutorial rooms 176A & 176B.
Can anyone use UNSW Library?
UNSW Library is open to current UNSW students & staff and UNSW Library members (UNSW alumni, NIDA staff & students, ULANZ and community borrowers). At this time, UNSW Library spaces and collections are not accessible by any other visitors.
How do you get into Cambridge library?
All members of the University of Cambridge are welcome to use the Library. Academic staff, postgraduate and research students from other universities can apply to use the Library for reference. Undergraduate students from other UK universities can apply to access the Library for reference during Cambridge vacations.
How long can you borrow a book from USYD library?
Items in the general collection can be borrowed for 12 weeks. If the item has not been requested by anyone else (recalled) and there are no overdue items on your account, a borrowed item will be automatically renewed after 12 weeks for another 12 weeks.
Can you borrow from a university library?
Students can borrow books from other colleges or public libraries using inter-library loan (ILL).
How long can you borrow a book from UNSW for?
Most loans can be renewed up to a total period of 16 weeks for undergraduates and community members. For postgraduates and UNSW Staff, the total loan period is 24 months.
