How do I refresh my SoundCloud playlist?
On mobile
- Go to your playlist, or to your collection, and swipe down the page to refresh.
- If the above does not work; please delete the cache on your device.
- If neither of the above work; please try deleting and re-installing the app.
How often do SoundCloud plays update?
If a listener is logged into their SoundCloud account, their plays will be tracked in real-time. If they are not logged in, their plays will be updated within 24 hours.
Why is SoundCloud playlist locked?
We are currently enforcing a 500 track limit to playlists. This limit is in place in order to maintain quality of service and performance for our whole user base. From now on you may see an error message if you exceed this limit.
How do I fix the preview glitch on SoundCloud?
On Android or iOS apps Pull down on the screen until you see a spinning wheel to refresh the page, and see if that helps. If not, check to make sure that you are on a stable wifi or 3G connection. If you are still experiencing trouble, please delete and reinstall the app and see if that helps.
Does Soundcloud tell you who listened to your playlist?
On your playlist’s page, you can view overall stats below the waveform. Since a playlist cannot receive plays or comments, you can learn more about who your fans are by clicking through on the Likes and Reposts icons.

Can you change the playlist cover on SoundCloud?
We accept any images up to 2mb in size. You can add or change an image to your playlist on the playlist page. Please note: Changing the artwork for your playlist does not automatically change the artwork for all the tracks within the playlist.
Can you rename playlists on SoundCloud?
You can change your playlist’s title and URL through the edit page via a web browser on your computer. Currently it’s not possible to rename the playlists using the app. You can access the edit page at any time by clicking the pencil icon (Edit button).
