After beating Velstadt in the Undead Crypt you can activate a boss fight with King Vendrick. He has a massive amount health and can kill easily with his sword. Stick to his left leg and back area to avoid his strikes. Having the giants souls and the great souls reduces Vendrick’s health and makes the fight easier.
