Golem is summoned by using the ⚷ Open / Activate key on the Lihzahrd Altar, located in the final Jungle Temple chamber, while at least one Lihzahrd Power Cell is in the player’s inventory.
Why can’t I use the Lihzahrd altar?
Like Lihzahrd Bricks, the Altar can only be removed with a Picksaw, Laser Drill, or a Luminite Pickaxe. Once picked up, the Altar can be placed anywhere and used to summon the Golem in any area, as long as Plantera has been defeated in the current world….Lihzahrd Altar.

Can you mine a Lihzahrd altar?
It can be mined with a Picksaw or any Pickaxe with more than 210% Pickaxe power, and then it can be placed anywhere. However, if it generates on top of wooden spikes, the spikes can be removed with low tier pickaxes which will allow the altar to be picked up.
