How do you use Soundslice?
Learning with Soundslice
- Click on music notation to navigate to that moment in the audio/video.
- Drag across music notation to loop that section of audio/video.
- With a loop already created, click/drag one of its edges to resize it.
- Use the speed controls at lower left to slow down audio without changing pitch.
How do you stack notes in Soundslice?
To add an accidental, use Control J for sharps, Control G for flats and Control H for naturals — or click the appropriate accidental icon in the edit pane. To move forward and add another note/rest, use your keyboard’s right-arrow key.
How do you write chords on Soundslice?
Select the note above which you’d like to add a chord. In the editor sidebar’s “Text” panel , click the “Chord name/diagram” button . Or search the editor for “Chord name” or use a keyboard shortcut. At the left of your screen, replacing the editor’s sidebar, you’ll see a place for you to enter the chord.
