How long do Nokian winter tires last?
Like every other Nokian tire, snow traction is excellent for an all-season tire. Ultimately, Nokian engineered a very durable tire – the Entyre 2.0 lasts for 5-6 seasons and comes with an outstanding 80,000-mile treadwear warranty.
How many miles do Nokian tires last?

The Blizzaks are noisier (especially on wet pavement), wear was better on the Nokians, and fuel economy was better on the Nokians. I will be putting Nokians on my new Outback. I used the Blizzaks for 4 seasons on a 2012 premium. (225/60/R17) and was very happy with them.
Are Blizzaks noisier than studded winter tires?
Not sure where you heard that, but they are noisier than a studless winter tire. As others have said, you can’t beat the traction of a dedicated winter tire because of the softer rubber. We have Blizzaks on our Flex and I have studded M&S tires on my 3/4 tonne, which need to come off by May 1 to prevent asphalt damage.
What’s wrong with the ws80?
The WS80s will whine a bit on dry surfaces, sounds like a drivetrain issue. That is the only drawback I have with the Blizzaks. Edit: Reason I run Blizzaks on my cars is availability.
Are the Hakka WS60’s any good?
The WS60 were good, but Hakkas had slightly better performance in slush, deep snow and ice. Tread wear was better as well. If you haven’t bought already, one item you may consider in your criteria is availability of a replacement tire if you ever have one damaged.
