The only family campground at Silverwood is Mesa Campground. There are also several group sites. Boats on Trailers – Those staying overnight with a boat on a trailer need to make a Boat Launch Reservation so that you will be assigned a campsite where you can park your boat on its trailer overnight.

Silverwood Lake State Recreation Area (Mesa) Campground has 136 campsites for tents, trailers and RVs (up to 31 feet) on a hill above the lake. Campsites 96 to 136 are full hookups (50-amp), with parking pads that are 20 feet wide and 30 feet long. There are also 5 hike/bike campsites and 3 group campsites.

All vessels entering Silverwood Lake SRA will be inspected for standing water and quagga mussels. Vessels that fail inspection will not be allowed to launch and may be turned away from the park.

ATTENTION! Due to high fire danger, a FIRE BAN has gone into effect in Silverwood Lake SRA. Effective Aug 24, 2021 until further notice, NO wood or charcoal fires of any kind will be allowed anywhere in the park. Propane or gas stoves, heaters, lanterns and portable gas fire pits are still allowed.
