How to program a PIC?
– Build the program and check for errors or warnings – Ensure the PICkit is connected correctly to the PIC and the computer – Click the make and program device button (the button to the right of the clean and build button) – If prompted select PICkit 3 and click OK – When the warning shows double check you have the correct PIC in the circuit and click OK – If a warning shows about Target Device ID click OK to ignore it
