Is Arc still accepting donations?
arc Thrift Stores gladly accepts MOST items, including clothing, shoes, books, toys, kitchen items, furniture, décor, electronics (excluding televisions), computers (excluding monitors), and household items. We are resuming donation pick-up for LARGE FURNITURE ONLY.
What items will arc accept?
The Arc accepts a variety of donations including clothing donations, household items donations, and even jewelry donations. Because each chapter accepts different donation items, please contact the charity in your area for more information on items they do not accept.

Does arc take baby items?
At the Arc, we also recycle e-waste so be sure to bring all your unwanted electronics and we will take care of it all for you. Another great thing to donate is baby supplies.

Ways to Donate: Drop off your new, unwrapped toys or sports equipment and non-perishable food items at the Ventura Fire Department Headquarters located at 1425 Dowell Drive in Ventura. Bring your new, unwrapped toys or sports equipment to any participating business.
Is amvets a nonprofit organization?
AMVETS National Service Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit operating nationally. Our primary goal is to serve American Veterans who served our country. Our National Service Officers help “cut the red tape” when a veteran, or a veteran’s dependent is attempting to obtain compensation and benefits from the VA.

What is the spark of love?
The campaign collects new, unwrapped toys and sports equipment for under served children and teens in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Orange, Ventura and Riverside counties. Toys collected in the respective counties are distributed locally.
