Mawgan Porth is a great family beach with lots of rockpools, caves and even a large stream running down the southern side of the beach. There is seasonal lifeguard cover at Mawgan Porth and whilst swimming is generally safe this is also a popular surfing beach so is fairly exposed to the Atlantic swells.
