Is Kai a caiman?
Caiman (カイマン, Kaiman), or the Magician Killer, is the main protagonist of the manga and anime series. He is a human born in the Hole with an immunity towards magic. He has made it explicitly clear that “Kaiman” was not his actual name, but was given to him by Nikaido after he began suffering from amnesia.

Kai is a massive and imposing man with tan skin and short, spiky black hair. Visually, he looks identical to Aikawa but with the addition of dark cross-shaped marks over his eyes which are noted to be almost like birthmarks.
