Lake of Two Rivers Picnic Ground and Beach is a popular spot for families to enjoy a picnic lunch or take a dip in the Lake of Two Rivers. As suggested by its name, the lake is surrounded by two rivers. The Madawaska River enters the lake from the west and exits from the east.

Is Algonquin Park water drinkable?
While Algonquin lakes are clean and pristine, all water should be boiled or filtered or treated with water purification drops before drinking.
Can you drink lake water in Algonquin Park?
Users may utilize this water for consumption as long as it has been brought to a rolling boil for one full minute and then cooled for use. One point of use treatment system in the Mew Lake comfort station laundry room is the only source of potable water (do not need to boil prior to using) at this time.
Is Algonquin Park free?
As of May 1, 2021, Ontario Parks has increased Daily Vehicle Permit fees in Algonquin Park to $21.00 per vehicle per day along Highway 60, and $18.00 per vehicle per day in other locations. Can you swim in Madawaska River?
yes there is a nice small sand beach…. the water is great, the Madawaska River is one of the cleanest rivers in the country!
Does Lake of Two Rivers have cell service?
We had full cell service with Bell mobility. A great weekend enjoyed by all.
Is Algonquin Park open for camping?
