Is talstar harmful to humans?
It is toxic to humans and pets if swallowed, inhaled, or absorbed through the skin. Do not use this product on food crops. Make sure that you allow 30 or so minutes to pass after application so that the insecticide can dry before you allow humans or animals back into the treated areas.

Which is better Bifen or talstar?
Answer: Talstar P and Bifen IT are essentially the same product, they are just made by different manufacturers. Onslaught is micro-encapsulated and will last a little longer on outdoor surfaces which does give it a bit of advantage over Talstar P or Bifen IT.
What does Bifenthrin do to dogs?

On rare occasion, dogs that may be more sensitive to pyrethrins/pyrethroids, are exposed to bifenthrin, or ingest a large or concentrated amount, can develop more severe signs such as tremors, twitching, shaking, incoordination (difficulty standing or walking), weakness, seizures, and rarely, death.

Does talstar P kill spiders?
Talstar will kill spiders. However, it is not a contact kill product….it is made more for longevity and having a long residual. It will work much faster when a spider is present when you are spraying and you spray directly on the spider. It will still not die immediately, but rather quickly.
How does talstar pesticide work?
Talstar P is a liquid concentrate insecticide which contains bifenthrin, a synthetic pyrethroid. Pyrethroids work by disrupting an insect’s nervous system causing a weakened state followed by death. Talstar P does not provide an instant knockdown of pests, rather, pests pick up the residual active ingredient by contact.
