Is there a NANA 2?
Nana 2 is the sequel to the Japanese movie Nana, an adaptation of the manga by Ai Yazawa, directed by Kentarô Ôtani. Production for the movie began in mid-September and only one and a half month shootings finished the movie in time for the December 9, 2006 release.
Why was Nana discontinued?
Two, Nana was put on hiatus in June 2009 when Ai Yazawa became ill with an undisclosed illness. The entire series to date is collected in the 21 tankobon volumes that have been released. In April 2010 Yazawa announced that she had left the hospital but did not specify if or when she would resume work on Nana.

It is definitely one of the best romance anime I have seen by far and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a not-too-long but not-too-short romance that will leave you content and thinking about whether events in everyday life are merely a coincidence or down to fate itself.
