The beach is not accessible at high tide but when the tide ebbs a little, a clean and smooth sandy beach is exposed; ideal for traditional beech games of rounders and beach cricket or just digging sand castles. A walk to Walton-on-Naze is pleasant along the beach or the promenade with it’s colourful beach huts.

Seasalter beach offers a large stretch of shingle beach with some sand and mud at low tide. Access to the beach is via steps up and over the sea wall. There is free parking and a well maintained toilet block on the Faversham Road behind the sea wall.
