Is Williams College doing in person tours?
Covid-19 Information Select Williams facilities and events are open to the public. Admission tours are available and guests are welcome at the Williams College Museum of Art, Sawyer and Schow Libraries and outdoor athletic events. Visitors are also welcome at indoor competitions and some performances and events.

For everyone’s safety, from August 9 through September 3 our student-led tours will be small, 45-minutes, and outdoors, only.

WOW is a selective program open to high school students in the U.S. and Puerto Rico; preference is given to high-achieving students who couldn’t otherwise afford to visit Williams.

Which school is easier to get into? If you’re looking at acceptance rate alone, then Amherst College is more difficult to get into. However, each college is looking to fill its incoming class with a variety of students with different strengths, backgrounds, etc.
How hard is Williams College?
Williams is definitely hard. Students at Williams work hard and professors expect a lot of their students. Students are competitive but its more a competition with themselves to give their best, people do not compare grades.
How many people are accepted to Windows on Williams?
Williams received a staggering number of applications in 2019-2020, consistent with previous years. Over 9,700 students applied, and only 1,205 were accepted into the Class of 2023. Of those, about 550 are expected to enroll for the fall semester.
Does Brown have a fly-in program?
Brown was the first school in the country to offer a fly-in program specifically designed for rising seniors from rural and small town communities. During the program, students tour campus, attend faculty lectures, meet current Brown students, stay in our residence halls, and eat in our cafeterias.
Is Williams College a party school?
There are definitely parties on the weekends – some are school sponsored and some take place in dorms – but after a few weekends of homogeneous partying a lot of people choose to stay in with their friends.
