The main bad thing about the Tsukihime anime is that it’s just lifeless. There’s not anything particularly good about it, so there’s no reason to watch it. If you don’t want to play the VN, the manga adaptation is very good. I enjoyed the manga a lot, and followed Prime Pikachu’s VN read through.
