What are post-installed anchors?
A post-installed anchor that is a threaded mechanical fastener placed in a predrilled hole. The anchor derives its tensile holding strength from the mechanical interlock of the fastener threads with the grooves cut into the concrete during the anchor installation.
How deep should anchors be?

The hole should be drilled 1/4″ to 1/2″ deeper into the base material than the anchor will penetrate. This allows for any material to fall when the anchor is inserted into the hole. After the hole is drilled, it must be cleaned of all debris, material or dust.
