Which Hadith follows Shia?
Thanks for A2A. Shias have their own books of narrations (Hadiths) much like the Sunnis do. There are hadiths which are present in books of both the sects. However, the books which have been compiled by Shia scholars have been mostly narrated by the Holy Prophet pbuh and his pure family members.
Do the Shia have a different Quran?
The Shia view of the Qur’an differs from the Sunni view, but the majority of both groups believe that the text is identical. While some Shia disputed the canonical validity of the Uthmanic codex, the Shia Imams always rejected the idea of alteration of Qur’an’s text.
Is Bukhari Sunni or Shia?
His book is highly regarded among Sunni Muslims, and considered the most authentic collection of hadith, even ahead of the Muwatta Imam Malik and Sahih Muslim of Bukhari’s student Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj. Most Sunni scholars consider it second only to the Quran in terms of authenticity.
Why do Shias reject hadith?
They do not believe in actively converting others to Shiaism. The reason is: actions speak louder than words. Of course Shia provide their reasoning and their sources for anyone who wants to study them and make an opinion. But they ultimately understand that religion is not a rational choice for most people.
